American Sentinel University - Freedom to Learn

American Sentinel is a nationally-accredited online university offering undergraduate and graduate degrees in computer science. We also offer degrees in information systems, game programming, information security and management information systems, as well as programs outside of information technology in such areas as business and health care. The school was founded in 1988 to provide education tailored to the needs of working adults at affordable tuition rates. American Sentinel University is committed to providing high-quality, innovative degree and certificate programs that enable students to develop the skills necessary to enhance their careers and personal lives.

Freedom to Learn

American Sentinel University has designed every aspect of the school to give adult learners the freedom to return to school, including:

  • Course terms that begin twice every month. This means that you don't have to wait until special dates in the spring or summer to start a course; courses starts are always coming up.
  • No required classroom attendance. You schedule your "school time" as you see fit.

We also understand that a major obstacle for many would-be students is cost, which is why we offer:

  • One of the lowest tuition rates among online schools. Without sacrificing any academic rigor, we have worked to reduce our costs to allow us to offer lower tuition than most schools.
  • Extensive benefits for military personnel and spouses. We are approved to accept TA and VA tuition funding, offer reduced military tuition rates when TA and VA are not available, and offer military scholarships to cover all non-tuition costs such as books, software, and shipping fees.
