Master of Science in Computer ScienceCal Lutheran offers its Master of Science in Computer Science (MSCS) to enhance the skills and knowledge of computer professionals, combining creativity with technological savvy to enable them to reach new heights in technological advancement.

Bachelor of Science in Computer Information SystemsComputer information systems (CIS) is a rapid-growth, high-demand area combining studies in computer science and business administration. The CIS major has been designed to meet the demand for graduates with a knowledge of information systems and their application to business environments. Along with an emphasis on computer applications in software, hardware and programming, CIS majors receive a strong business and liberal arts education. CIS represents the largest area in computing, and CLU graduates are prepared for careers in a variety of industries. Included in the computer science facility are the PC and Apple computer laboratories, as well as classrooms and faculty offices. Small classes allow faculty members to provide individualized attention to students and the students' projects and research. Additionally, the department is fully connected to the internet and every lab PC or work station has complete internet access. Bachelor of Science in Computer ScienceIn keeping with the fast-growing computer science industry, CLU has expanded its computer science department in terms of technology and curriculum. The curriculum, which follows that recommended by the Association for Computing Machines, offers special courses on artificial intelligence, software engineering and computational theory. JAVA is the primary language used in the curriculum. This computer science curriculum prepares students for a variety of careers in both the public and private sectors.
