Master of Science in Civil Engineering - Transportation EngineeringApplicants to this program must have a GPA minimum of 2.75 and a bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field Offered by the university's J.B. Speed School of Engineering, this 100% online program emphasizes the planning, design, construction, operations and maintenance of air, transit, and highway transportation systems. You will leave this program prepared for in-demand transportation design and construction engineering careers in which you'll work with architects and other design professionals to solve current and future transportation issues. Courses for the transportation engineering concentration include traffic engineering, environmental analysis of transportation systems, geometric highway design, global positioning systems (GPS) theory and application, geographic information systems (GIS) applications in transportation, transportation planning and urban development, fundamentals of intelligent transportation systems and pavement design.
